Sameshima y Asociados, S.C. is a public accounting firm in Tijuana, established in 2006. I have 36 years in practice: 16 at Deloitte and 20 running this firm, serving Japanese companies operating in Mexico.
Where I come from
Sixteen years at Deloitte and twenty running this firm. From the international firm I brought the method and the reporting rigour a corporate office expects. What I did not bring is the structure that puts a different person on your account every year.
The commitment the relationship rests on
The delivery date. It is the first thing I agree on with a new client and the only thing I do not renegotiate afterwards. Most of the companies I serve have been with me for years, and that is the reason they give when I ask.
Genuinely bilingual
Bilingual does not mean someone translates the report at the end. It means the person recording the transaction can explain it in English to the person who will consolidate it. That difference only shows up when there is a question at close.
Where I work
The office is in Colonia Dávila, in Tijuana. Besides Tijuana I serve clients in Mexicali and in the Bajío region.
